Dr. Hajihashemi joined S. K. Ghosh Associates Inc. in June 2013 after obtaining his Ph.D. from the University of Memphis. During his Ph.D. program, he conducted a research project, funded by Tennessee DOT, on the evaluation of displacement-based seismic design methods in current highway bridge codes and specifications. He pursued his interests in seismic and structural code-related activities by joining SKGA and is currently engaged in producing code support publications, his first being the Application Guide for the 2012 IBC Concrete Provisions. He is also responsible for maintaining computer software programs developed by SKGA.
