Use:

Displays current date and time

Syntax:

NOW( )

Example:

Cell C2 formula:     NOW( )

 

Notes:

This example spreadsheet was created at 12:13 in the afternoon on August 21, 1995.

The appearance of the displayed time and date can be altered by Excel's cell formatting options.
