Pavements Committee

The GeoInstitute Pavements Committee exists to provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge among pavement engineers with geotechnical and geomechanics interests. The intent is to focus on the geotechnical aspects of pavements. Activities include:

interacting with other pavement-related organizations

sponsoring conferences and technical sessions

publishing research findings

conducting short courses

maintaining a listserver for the exchange of information

The Pavements Committee meets annually, usually during the Transportation Research Board Meeting in Washington D.C. Meetings are open to members and affiliates. You can download a copy of the minutes from the last committee meeting here.

If you'd like to become a member, please fill out an application and e-mail it, along with a brief resume, to the committee chair, Erol Tutumluer.
