The ASCE at the University of Memphis:

The ASCE student chapter at the University of Memphis has played an important role in the education of students throughout their college education. It provides students a chance to get hands on experience in a variety of different fields of Civil Engineering. This experience helps to equip them for future work and hopes to inspire them to excel in the field of Civil Engineering.

Making a Difference

The ASCE is the oldest Engineering society in the United states dating back to 1852. It's headquarters is set in Reston, VA. Despite dating back to 1852 the ASCE is firmly committed to the progression of the field throughout the ever changing future. The ASCE student chapter at the University of Memphis continually involves the department's students in furthering their education to the highest possible levels.

Engineering the world of Tomorrow:

The world of Engineering is constantly changing and the importance of working well with others and establishing good connections throughout the respective fields of engineering is a valuable opportunity to students. The ASCE promotes this opportunity by allowing students the chance to work together on many projects relating to the field of Civil Engineering, these projects in turn make the students contacts with many different companies and give them an opportunity to experience engineering in an environment which promotes scholastic perfection accompanied with lifelong friendships.
