Internet Search

So, how can I find something interesting about _____? Surely someone, somewhere must have just what I'm trying to find.

The Internet contains an enormous wealth of information. Unfortunately, since it is maintained by tens of millions of individuals on millions of different computers, it is not as well organized as we might like. A few tools, known as search engines, have been designed to sniff out information on a wide range of topics. My favorite is the Alta Vista search engine from Digital.
